"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." These words are from Nelson Mandela. Though not a formal school teacher by profession, he understood that more than mere gain of knowledge is putting learning into practical use. The former South African President acted as a catalyst for social change by rallying the cause of the poor and the marginalized. Mandela in his lifetime earned global-esteem. The renowned human rights advocate do not just represent a chapter of struggle for the Negro community but now mirrors democracy, freedom and peace.
